St. Patrick's Day

Hello everybody and welcome to my short story about St. Patrick's Day.
Here are some facts about this day.....


First of all, St. Patrick's Day is on 17th March, this day is the memory day of Patrick, who was the first missionary in Ireland.
He is a saint patron of Ireland.
It's celebrated in Ireland, North-Ireland, Labrador and Newfoundland.
On St. Patrick's Day the irish people became crazy, for example they dye their beer green.
On this day people wear green clothes and there are parades and a lot of activites on the street.

I think St. Patrick's Day is a very nice day, because people have a reason to drink and to celebrate.

Lionel Messi

Today we want to present Lionel Messi to you, a very famous football player.

Lionel Messi is 25 years old and he was born on 24 June 1987 in Argentina.

 Messi is a footballer who plays as a forward (Stürmer) for FC Barcelona and for the Argentina national team. He is a very short person with a height of 1,69 m, but he is still the best player in the world. This year he won the FIFA World Player of the Year awards the 3^rd time.

He earns 31 million euros from FC Barcelona and advertising.
Messi set the record from Gerd Müller to score 85 goals per season with incredible 92 goals per season.
